From Surf City to the Heart of Tennessee: Red Bull Signature Series

     

 

Lensley Automatic teamed up with CASIO for 3 events during the 2013 Red Bull Signature Series, kicking off under the sun at Surf City in Huntington Beach, CA, for the Vans U.S. Open of Surfing.

After 4 days of sweet surf action, we packed up and shipped out to Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Tennessee for 4 days of hardcore motocross!

 

 

In addition to all the standard Lensley magic, we developed a custom sharing platform for the CASIO GzOne Commando 4G LTE smartphone by Verizon. Attendees were able to instantly share to their social networks while experiencing the mobile product first hand.

Roxy-ing Out at the Sunset Strip Music Festival!

     

For the 3rd straight year, Lensley Automatic and the Roxy crew teamed up to create some photo magic during the annual Sunset Strip Music Festival! We set up shop in front of the Roxy Theater, inviting music fans to snap a pic (or three!) and share their awesome photos instantly.  They also got a printed copy to take home (perfect for plastering guitar cases!).

Lensley vs. Los Angeles Sparks

 

This season, Lensley Automatic partnered with the Los Angeles Sparks to present an ongoing installation at the Staples Center during all LA Sparks home games.

 

 

Fans have the chance to pose with some sweet Sparks gear, and can share their photos via all their favorite social media channels with the help of on-site Lensley Automatic ambassadors.

 

 

As if a Lensley pic wasn’t enough, fans also have a chance for their photo become the “Fan Photo of the Day.” Each game, a photo is chosen at random to be displayed on the massive video board at half-time. The lucky person IN the photo receives a cool LA Sparks prize pack too!

 

      

 

There are still a lot of games to look forward to — look for us just inside the Figueroa entrance at the next game for your chance to win, and GO SPARKS!!

Bacon & Barrels at Saarloos & Sons

 

Lensley never misses a chance to head up the coast to visit our buddies at Saarloos & Sons in Los Olivos.  This time we attended the Bacon & Barrels festival, held right in the Saarloos & Sons Field! Between sampling unique bacon dishes, and all kinds of wine, bourbon, and craft beer, folks snapped some fun pics with the Lensley Automatic.

They were able to share their 4 shot Lensley photo to their social media channels, and keep a copy for themselves!

Lensley @ Comic-Con 2013: Lionsgate and Summit and Fandango… oh my!

      

 

Comic-Con 2013 is here, and Lensley is in San Diego to document all the best convention moments!  Last night, Lensley was at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego for the Lionsgate/Summit/Fandango party, celebrating their upcoming releases, Ender’s Game and Divergent. In between breaks from the dance floor, guests grabbed their friends and snapped a 4-shot photo with the Lensley Automatic device. As always, a Lensley Ambassador was on hand to walk them through the process, and show guests how easy it was to send their photo to all their social media channels. (Plus, the printed photo they received was a piece of sweet Comic-Con swag to add to their collection!)

TODAY we’ll be right in the heart of it all, shooting all the great cosplay and action in Downtown San Diego. Lensley is showing off our new roaming photography package, so keep an eye out and give us a holler!

Mitsubishi Owner’s Day 2013

      

 

The annual Mitsubishi Owner’s Day 2013 recently took place in Cypress, CA — it’s the ultimate event for Mitsubishi owners and fans. What better way to show your guests that you care, than to throw them a party with giveaways, great entertainment, free lunch & a Lensley photo?

Mitsubishi owners and fans took a single shot photo using a custom wrapped Lensley Automatic device, in front of a custom printed background. Afterward, they could send out their Lensley photo to their social media channels, and print a copy for themselves! Everyone’s Lensley photo was also sent in real-time to a live, onsite mosaic via RSS feed, courtesy of Hyperactivate’s Hashtag Art. Lensley really went full throttle for MOD 2013!

Dew Tour 2013: Ocean City, MD

 

Lensley headed east to Ocean City, Maryland for the kick off of the 2013 Dew Tour! First Stop: The Beach Championships. During the 4 day event featuring skateboarding, BMX and other extreme sports, Lensley hit the beach with Toyota to ensure it wasn’t just the pros who were getting some sick air!

 

 

Dew Tour attendees of all ages were able to pose on a BMX bike or skateboard, and thanks to the magic of green screen, Lensley got some great photos of them jumping over a brand new 2014 Corolla! Afterwards, guests were able to use iPads installed inside a 2014 Toyota Prius to share the photos to their various social media channels.

 

 

 

The Dew Tour is a great place to see your favorite BMX riders and skaters, but Lensley made sure everyone could (safely) throw some rad tricks! But as it turned out, pro-BMX riders Jamie Bestwick & Drew Bezanson couldn’t stay away either!

BET Awards: Crest Fan Fest

Last month, before the BET Awards took over Nokia Theatre, there was a two day festival just for the fans at LA Live. The BET Awards Fan Fest was a sprawling event full of music, food, and dancing that turned the fans into the stars of the show. Lensley was there at the Crest Booth to capture everyone’s pearly white smiles!

 

 

There were two fully branded Lensley Automatic devices to choose from, one with a custom backdrop of LA Live, and the other shooting out to the Fan Fest itself. Fans were able to take a photo on either device, share their photo to their social media channels, and print a copy for themselves!

 

 

While they waited to show off their brightest smiles, they were able to enjoy a live slideshow of all the Lensley photos that had been taken throughout the day.

YARDI @ the National Apartment Association Conference

      

 

If you’re talking about apartments and real estate, it’s hard to beat San Diego — where the National Apartment Association held their latest conference. With the help of Lensley, YARDI was able to bring a little bit of the beach to their booth!

Conference-goers were able to have their photo taken with a full branded Lensley Automatic device, and were then able to share their photo to their social media channels. (Naturally, YARDI’s custom graphic for the Lensley photo included some palm trees.) Though guests weren’t able to take the surfboard home with them, they did get a printed copy of their photo as a neat conference token!

Midnight Oil Creative, Plastic Wax, and Hammer Creative @ E3

Recently, Los Angeles hosted E3 — the annual computer & video game trade fair. In the midst of all the panels, demos, and unveilings, everyone still found time to kick back and relax a little. Midnight Oil Creative, Plastic Wax, and Hammer Creative hosted a great party at the Figueroa Hotel downtown, and Lensley was there to capture it all!

 

 

Party guests snapped a 4-shot photo, with our standard Lensley Automatic device, which they could then share to all their social media channels. Afterward, they got a print to take home with a custom-branded graphic — as always, a great little souvenir!
